Meet the team:

The Facilities Department at Dexcom plays a critical role in supporting the people, spaces, and infrastructure that enable innovation and life-changing diabetes technology. Our team is responsible for maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient facilities that support manufacturing, research, and business operations, ensuring employees can focus on delivering products that improve lives around the world.

Where you come in:

• You will plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure Dexcom's facilities and building systems operate safely and efficiently.
• You will perform hands-on facility support activities such as furniture moves, patch and paint work, light construction, exterior cleanup, and workspace readiness projects.
• You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of equipment and systems, including lighting, appliances, door hardware, plumbing components, furniture, and general building infrastructure.
• You will coordinate with facility stakeholders, area owners, vendors, and contractors to successfully complete maintenance projects and service requests.
• You will utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and handheld technologies to document work performed, manage work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• You will support a first-class employee experience by providing outstanding customer service to office spaces, dining areas, common spaces, and site grounds.
• You are a skilled problem-solver who can independently diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and make decisions aligned with Dexcom's goals, policies, and procedures.
• You will champion safety and compliance by following SOPs, building codes, safe work practices, and promptly reporting incidents or potential hazards.
• You will support site operations by assisting with meeting room and AV setups, vendor coordination, corporate visits, and special events that help showcase Dexcom's world-class facilities.
• You are a professional, adaptable team member who maintains confidentiality, builds positive relationships with customers and vendors, and is willing to support occasional evening or weekend work when business needs require it.

What makes you successful:

• You have hands-on experience performing facility maintenance, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance in a commercial, manufacturing, laboratory, healthcare, or similar environment.
• You are comfortable standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and performing physically active work for extended periods throughout the day.
• You have experience safely using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance-related devices to complete repairs and installations.
• You are capable of working at heights using ladders, lifts, and other approved access equipment while consistently following all safety requirements.
• You bring strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions with minimal supervision.
• Your proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, enables you to communicate effectively, manage documentation, and support daily business operations.
• You are comfortable writing professional emails, responding to work requests, and communicating clearly through messaging platforms, work order systems, and mobile technologies.
• You have experience coordinating with customers, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• You demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and can effectively prioritize multiple maintenance requests, plan daily activities, and maintain accurate records within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Your commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement helps ensure all work is performed in accordance with SOPs, building codes, company policies, and industry best practices.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent
