 This position is responsible for:
THIS POSITION IS SEASONAL ONLY AND WILL NOT EXCEED 90 DAYS.

Provides administrative support to the Development Director and team.
Â
Key Responsibilities:
Â
- Drive Salvation Army vehicles to and from malls to pick up gifts and take them to the Christmas warehouse, organizing scheduling pick-ups by most direct route to arrive at destinations according to schedule.
- Delivers bellringers and/or kettles to locations daily; picks up same at end of day; returns to kettle locations as necessary/directed throughout the day to pick up full and/or drop off empty kettles.
- Provides primary administrative support to the Development Department through internal and external communications and other support assignments as required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Â
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two years coursework from an accredited college or university, and
- Three years progressively responsible experience working in a general office with at least one year performing work characteristic of the assigned department,
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.

Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid State Drive’s License.
