Dev Ops Engineer-PlainID

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for thePlainID platform and related services.

Implement and automatedeployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Support and troubleshootPlainID service deployments across multiple environments (DEV, STG, PROD).

Collaborate withSecurity, API, and Application teams to ensure consistent policy configuration and rollout.

Monitor application performance and infrastructure health using tools likePrometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.

Manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) for microservices running PlainID-related components.

Integrate with authentication and policy engines (OPA, Okta) to ensure robust access control.

Ensure properlogging, alerting, and audit trail configurations are in place for compliance and security.

Participate inincident response androot cause analysis (RCA) for DevOps-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise-scale environments.

Strong experience withCI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).

Proficiency inKubernetes,Docker, and containerized deployments.

Solid understanding ofCloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).

Good knowledge ofLinux system administration, shell scripting, and version control (Git).

Familiarity withPlainID or equivalentPolicy-Based Access Control (PBAC) frameworks (OPA, Styra DAS).

Understanding ofAPI gateways, reverse proxies, and secrets management tools (e.g., Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).

Hands-on experience withmonitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience withPlainID Policy Manager configuration orauthorization rules.

Exposure tomicroservices-based architecture andsecurity-first deployment pipelines.

Familiarity withRBAC/PBAC policy deployment automation and REST API integration.

Prior experience supportingidentity and access management (IAM) systems.
