We are looking for an experiencedProduct Modelling Expert for ourITSM platform. The ITSM platform is the main digital interface for DTAG’s large B2B customers to interact with Deutsche Telekom throughout the entire customer contract lifecycle.
All DTAG products and services are described in a structured digital format (product models) within an electronic product catalog on the ITSM platform.

In this role, you will drive the creation ofcustomer-specific catalog entries as well asstandard DTAG products sold via the ITSM platform. You will work closely withService Design,Solution Design,Product Portfolio Management, andDT IT teams to ensure product models are defined in a way that enables efficient catalog implementation.

Your Tasks

  • Lay the foundation for astructured, digital description of products and services for large B2B customers
  • Based on overall product prioritization, collaborate withSolution Design (customer-specific items) andPortfolio Management (standard products)
  • Extract and structure all relevant product information, including:
    • product structure
    • order parameters
    • dependencies
    • order workflows
  • Ensure product models have anappropriate level of complexity (as simple as possible, but sufficient for ITSM use cases)
  • Create product models in aCatalog Management Tool (to be introduced in 2026) or document them in a format suitable for DT IT implementation
  • Build, manage, and continuously extend areusable product model library
  • Own and maintain product models throughout theproduct and contract lifecycle
  • Define, align, and evolveproduct modelling guidelines for the ITSM platform team

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and continuously improveproduct modelling guidelines for ITSM usage
  • End-to-end ownership of selected product models, including:
    • gathering required information from TDG experts (Solution Design & Portfolio Management
    • defining models with strong focus onreusability
    • ensuring compatibility with existingproduction models
    • implementing models directly or preparing detailed handover documentation for DT IT
    • adapting product models over time as contracts and products evolve
  • Maintain and govern theproduct model library for future reuse
  • Fluent English (daily working language);German is a strong advantage
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in TM Forum–based product modelling
  • Stronganalytical skills to map complex B2B products into structured models
  • Solid understanding ofB2B products (e.g. Connectivity, Security, LAN) andOrder-to-Cash processes
  • Experience withlarge B2B contracts and related operational processes
  • Knowledge of theTDG organization and internal stakeholder network
  • Strongcommunication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Degree inEngineering, Computer Science, or Physics
  • Experience withServiceNow
  • Knowledge ofJIRA and Confluence
  • High attention to detail with strongproblem-solving skills
