JoinJet2holidays’ Management Team and help us deliver our award-winning service and unforgettable holiday experiences to our valued customers.We have a fantastic opportunity to join Jet2holidays as a Destination Manager inSharm El Sheikh.As aDestination Manager, you will hold themost senior role in the destination and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and enjoyable holiday experience. You will manage a team ofTeam Leaders andCustomer Helper - Representatives,manage operations at the resort and airport, and work as one team withinternal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding service.You willtake responsibilityfor your teams' performance by regularlyreviewing performance metrics usingManagement Information (MI) reports and our digital systems to identify areas for improvement andimplement action plans.

What will you do in the role?
Reporting into the Regional Managerwho is based remotely, you will have overall responsibility for managing the planning, budgeting and delivery of the Jet2holidays service acrossSharm El Sheikh, producing strong performance and results ensuring you:
- Collaboratewith our local agents, transfer providers, hoteliers and senior UK stakeholders to achieve set KPIsensuring company policies, procedures and service level agreementsare met.
- Managing costsand delivering against yourbudgetandcustomer service metrics.
- Demonstrating effective leadershipand taking responsibility for managing alloperational disruption, including indestination crisis situations, flight programme delays andcustomer escalations
- Be Presentfor your team andmanage their performanceby hosting scheduled in-person & virtual team meetings, delivering training to new and existing members of your team & hold individual monthly 1-1 performance and welfare meetings
- Proposekey business decisionsin the destination usingavailable MI, analysing trendsas well as utilising yourlocal destination knowledge.
- Monitoring, managing and reporting operational disruptionwhich impacts thecustomersJet2holiday experienceincluding building works, local events and industrial action.
- Leading by exampledisplaying role model behaviours and company values in managing and delivering your operation.
What will I need?
The ideal candidate will have prior management experience inHoliday or Cruise Operations, with proven ability tolead large teams, managebudgets and make criticaldecisions under tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential; knowledge of Arabic language is preferred. IT literacy and the ability tointerpret data and MI are required.
As we employ on local employment contracts, you will already hold the full right to work documentation or be willing to apply for right to work documentationrequiredforEgyptand be living in the destination or willing to relocate and source yourown accommodation.Due to the level of travel required in the role, you will be required to hold a full and valid driving licenceand have your own car with appropriate insurance. Business Travel expenses are reimbursed.
