Job Summary
The Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and development of aerospace and/or industrial components and systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate engineering concepts into manufacturable and certifiable designs for aerospace and/or industrial-related systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop aerospace and/or industrial components, assemblies, and systems using CAD and engineering analysis tools

Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation

Conduct design reviews and support verification and validation activities
-
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly
-
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting activities

Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines
-
Participate in configuration management and change control processes
-
Support certification, qualification, and airworthiness activities, as applicable

Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

Operate 3D printers

Maintain, organize, and replenish 3D print materials
Educational Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; or equivalent experience in a related field

Certification in 3D modeling
Required Experience
-
3–7 years of experience in design engineering
-
Experience with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or similar
-
Experience working within regulated engineering environments
Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of aerospace engineering principles and design practices, when applicable

Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing standards

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

Experience with aerospace standards and regulations (FAA, EASA, AS9100, ISO 9001), as applicable

Professional 3D modeling license
