Thisposition isresponsible for providingstatistical analysis,direction,andtraining toservice clients inGlobalProductdevelopment & Supply(GPS). Supportandguidance inrelation to studydesignand dataanalysis isprovidedworldwide tothe BMSfacilities.

MajorDutiesand Responsibilities:

• Support the GPS network stakeholders globallytounderstand theirstatisticalneedsand determinesound statisticaltechniques foruse.
• Collaborateswith processanalyticalteamsand subjectmatterexpertsinManufacturing and ManufacturingSciences.
• &Technologytodesign studiesand analyzecomplexdatasets forprocessrobustnessand improvement.
•     Supportsanalyticalteamsin QCand AnalyticalSciences &Technologyformethod lifecycle andreferencestandard qualification, including method development, qualification, validation, and investigations.
• Developsandselectsappropriatestatisticalmethodsforthedesign and analysis ofstudiesand programstoassurebatchcompliance and preventrejections,reworks,complaints,and productrecalls on aworldwidebasis. Forexample,determiningspecifications,processcapability,samplingplansand expiry/retestperiods.
• Conductsthoroughand carefulanalysis ofdata,gatherscriticalinformation,and providesappropriaterecommendationsand solutionsbasedoncorresponding statisticalanalysesandbusinessneeds.
• Demonstratesstrong statisticalskillswhilethinkinginaclear,decisivemanner.Reachesindependent,logicalsolutions.
• Contributesto improvementand standardization ofprocesses,procedures,and systemsin relation toStatisticswhile maintainingflexibility whererequired.
•      Furthersthestatisticalawarenessand statisticalprocesscontrolcompetencyof otherBMSpersonnel;participatesintheirtraining and development,asrequired.
•    Creates,communicates,and supportsthehighestcommitmenttoqualityand compliance.
•    SupportstheBMSBioPharmaBehaviors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS (with 2+ years of experience) or PhD (with no additional experience) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a highly related field.
• Mastery of statistical methods such as Design of Experiments (DOE), regression modeling, variance component analysis, multivariate analysis, process capability, and control charts.
• Advanced skills using one or more statistical packages or languages (e.g., JMP, SAS, or R)
• Abilityto analyzeand interpretscenarios,andthrough effectivestudydesignand statisticalanalysisprovideanswersand appropriatecourses ofaction.
• Ability to instruct non-statisticians in basic & intermediate statistical methods
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Qualifications:

• Biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing experience, with a strong preference for CMC statistics background
• Knowledge ofFDA/EMEAcGMPsand knowledge of otherglobalregulatorycomplianceguidelines(e.g.ICH, USP) fordrugmanufacturing,packagingand distribution.
• Abilityto workwithawiderange oftechnicallyand culturallydiverseindividuals.
• Capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Detail-oriented with a passion for science and data analysis
