WhatĀ youā€™llĀ achieveĀ 

As aĀ Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer,Ā you willĀ be responsible forĀ advancedĀ rootcauseĀ analysis, performance optimization, configuration tuning, andĀ longtermĀ stability improvements.Ā You will work withĀ Customer EngineeringĀ onĀ escalations to address critical customer issues.

You will:Ā 

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software issues using advanced tools and methodologies.Ā 
  • Conduct detailed RCA andĀ provideĀ actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.Ā 
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive collaborative problem-solving.Ā 
  • Design and implement intelligent automation solutions,Ā leveragingĀ AI and emerging agentic technologies to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.Ā 
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the organization.Ā

Essential Requirements

  • 12+ years in software/hardware engineering (or equivalent) with deepĀ expertiseĀ in one or more of the following:Ā Ā 
  • Object storage, NAS (Network Attached Storage),Linux/BSD operating systems, Networking and protocol stacks (SMB, NFS, etc.), FilesystemsĀ 
  • Analytics, observability, and data scienceĀ 
  • 5 days a week onsite work model with Weekend work on a rotational basis (comp days provided), occasional early/late shifts, and overtime as needed.Ā

Desirable Requirements

  • ProficiencyĀ inĀ Java, C, Python, and scriptingĀ 
  • Proven experience in developing automation frameworks and applying AI/agentic tools to drive operational efficiency and scalabilityĀ
