What you’ll achieve

As a senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement high-scale, multi-tenant Data Lakehouse for our clients that serves as the backbone for both real-time analytics and advanced machine learning. Your mission is to move beyond traditional ETL, creating a "data supply chain" that leverages federated query engines, open table formats, and cloud-native scalability to ensure our customer’s data is reliable, governed, and instantly accessible across diverse product lines.

Essential Requirements

• Core Engineering: Expert Python and advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, query optimization).

• Distributed Systems: Production experience with Trino/Presto and Apache Spark.

• Modern Table Formats: Hands‑on with Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Hudi at scale.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong command of cloud storage/compute (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Storage & Formats: Deep knowledge of Parquet/Avro and query‑pattern optimization.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
   

Desirable Requirements

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a proven track record of building and scaling production-grade data platforms. 

• Experience mentoring junior engineers through code reviews, design docs, and pair programming.

•  An "Impact-Oriented" builder who thrives in high-growth environments and can navigate the ambiguity of evolving architectural patterns. Ability to articulate complex architectural trade-offs (e.g., "Lakehouse vs. Warehouse" or "Federation vs. Ingestion") to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
