What youāll achieve
You will help define and evolve the observability strategy for our services, ensuring engineers have the right insights to build, operate, and scale highāquality software. You'll work across teams to deliver robust telemetry, enhance reliability, and enable dataādriven operational excellence.Ā
You will:
- Implement observability frameworks coveringmetrics, logs, traces, profiling, and events.
- Build scalable telemetry pipelines using technologies such asOpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger, Tempo, or similar.
- Develop instrumentation libraries, SDKs, agents, and exporters for distributed services.
- Optimize ingestion, storage, and query performance for highāvolume telemetry data.
- Partner with engineering and SRE teams to define and measureSLIs/SLOs/SLAs.
- Build dashboards, alerts, and diagnostics tools to support realātime monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Lead dataādriven incident analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Automate deployments and configuration of observability systems
- Champion observability best practices across the engineering organization.

Essential Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering or systems engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills inPython.
- Deep experience with cloudānative platforms (Kubernetes, containers, service mesh architectures).
- Handsāon expertise with modern observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, telemetry data flows, and performance engineering.
- Experience building automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable leading crossāteam initiatives.
