Energy Regulations and Standards Senior Principal Engineer

Our Regulatory Engineering team thrives on the challenge of operating in a complex global environment. What you’ll achieve

In this position asEnergy Regulations and Standards Senior Principal Engineer, you willmonitor and influence global product energy regulations & standards across the Dell Technologies product portfolio.  You will be responsible for coordinating the documentation and communication regulatory requirements to product teams, various cross-functional teams and other stakeholders.  You will engage external regulatory agencies and standards bodies to ensure Dell's point of view is reflected into the regulatory process, including working with industry trade associations and directly with agencies as well. You will be expected to be able to communicate clearly through oral and written communications including the ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal customers, external customers and executives.

Essential Requirements 

• 12+ years of experience in engineering
• Strong leadership skills, organizing, and planning skills and demonstrate attentiveness to quality and productivity
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Analytical, problem solving, and priority setting skill; initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Facilitation skills to lead meetings and achieve consensus with multi-stakeholder groups inside and outside the company; Ability to build effective teams, lead extended teams, and meet deadlines

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Experience in energy and standards regulations
