- You will indicate your level of interest from a list of eligible roles, which will be considered during the placement process.
Placement will be determined by operational need.
In addition, hourly conversions are contingent on successful program completion and, if applicable, confirmation of restrictions & accommodations in the Part-time or Full-time role. If selected, your new role will beginthe Sunday following your program end date.
You’ll be notifiedno later than 6 weeks before your departure if selected. Final details about your role, location and status will be shared closer to your end date.

Responsibilities
For more information about roles you may be assigned to, please see below:Attraction CM:
Attraction Cast Members work in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations including Rides & Shows, Main Entrance, Park Greeter and Toll Plaza. During the day, Cast Members in this role may be greeting Guests, loading and unloading attractions, operating attraction systems, delivering narrations of varying lengths, providing audience control and cash handling. When considering this role, please also be aware of the heightened safety critical aspects.
Custodial CM:
Our Custodial Cast Members work in a variety of both indoor/outdoor and onstage/backstage locations. In this position, you could interact with Guests, answer their questions, supply directions and provide outstanding Guest Service. Other responsibilities may include cleaning tables, emptying trashcans, cleaning restrooms, using chemicals, heavy lifting, prolonged standing, sweeping, general area cleaning. A valid Driver’s License from any state is required.
Sales CM:
Merchandise Cast Members have the opportunity to work at a number of indoor and outdoor locations including highly themed locations, Package Pickup, Strollers, Production Kitchen, and Fossil Fun Games. Daily responsibilities may include helping Guests by answering questions, providing information and assisting with special requests, operating a point-of-sale system (POS register), cash handling, stocking, inventory and light cleaning.
Food & Beverage Quick Service CM:
Our Quick Service Food & Beverage team works in fast-paced environments at either indoor counter service or outdoor vending locations. Daily responsibilities may include taking orders, operating a point-of-sale system (POS register), cash handling, fulfilling orders, food preparation, bussing, general cleaning, stocking items and keeping inventory.
Food & Beverage Quick Service Specialty Beverage CM:
Specialty Beverage Cast Members provide outstanding Guest Service along with delicious treats and drinks prepared with the care and quality for which Starbucks is known. Daily responsibilities include taking orders for coffee, specialty beverages, and food items, interpreting Guests' orders, translating Starbucks language, preparing the beverages to the Guests' specifications.
Food & Beverage CM:
Food & Beverage Cast Members in our Table Service Restaurants or Conventions areas may be responsible for greeting Guests upon arrival, seating Guests in the dining room, creating and managing reservations within a computer system, maintaining a seating chart and resolving Guest situations. Additional responsibilities may include bussing tables, running food, folding napkins, light cleaning and assisting Servers as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:- Be a current participant in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World ® Resort with a departure date in January or February 2027.
- Successfully complete your current program.
- Meet scheduling requirements:
- Part-time requires a flexible schedule with full availability for any shift for a minimum of three (3) days per week, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Full-time requires a flexible schedule with full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Commitment to upholding all Disney Look guidelines, which support personal expression while maintaining role-specific standards.
- Some roles may required a valid state Driver’s License.
- Display workplace dependability by meeting eligibility guidelines:
- No more than one (1) reprimand in the past six (6) months
- No more than four (4) attendance points in the past six (6) months

Houseperson:
As a member of the Houseperson team, responsibilities include assisting Housekeepers with getting supplies, removing dirty linens, and handling trash. Additional responsibilities include some custodial work, keeping storage rooms properly stocked, and assisting with laundry. Houseperson Cast Members must be receptive to cleaning rooms. A valid Driver’s License from any state is required.
Lifeguard:
Lifeguards at the Walt Disney World Resort ensure the safety of our Guests while keeping our recreation areas clean, answering Guest questions, providing pool rule information, and being a first responder in the event of an emergency. Lifeguards may also have the opportunity to work in a variety of locations, including Pool Attendant, Slide Operations and Marina Operations.
Parking:
As part of the Parking team, Cast Members are responsible for directing traffic, operating passenger-carrying trams, vans, and trucks, delivering Guest information, answering Guest questions, and providing directions as needed. Parking Cast Members may work indoors or outdoors in varying weather types. A valid Driver’s License from any state is required.
Gondola CM:
Gondola Cast Members soar to unparalleled heights connecting Guests to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort. During the day, Cast Members in this role may be greeting Guests, assisting with load and unload, operating a highly mechanical system, spieling to large crowds, providing audience control, and responding to high pressure situations. When considering this role, please also be aware that you must be comfortable riding the Disney Skyliner. A valid Driver’s License from any state is required.
Watercraft CM:
Those working in Watercraft have various responsibilities including piloting and docking free floating multi-passenger boats, loading and unloading vessels, answering Guest questions and providing exceptional Guest service. These are free floating vessels that require navigational skills on open water and in narrow passageways. While prior boating experience isn’t a requirement – it is a plus! We can train anyone to drive a boat! A valid Driver’s License from any state is required.
