Job Summary
The Retail Supervisor is responsible for the operational success of the Tampa Bay Sports Store. They provide direction and supervision for all retail activities within the building, including providing guests with a world-class fan/customer experience, driving sales, overseeing staff to ensure stores are all supported and merchandise/inventory control is adhered to per Tampa Bay Sports protocol. 
The Retail Supervisor will need to possess a positive attitude, solid work ethic, a strong sense of ownership, will be proactive in nature, and will uphold the highest of professional standards. 
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Help to train and lead, all hourly sales associates to consistently meet and exceed Tampa Bay Sports standards. 
- Ensure the staff provides, best-in-class customer service per VSG guidelines. 
- Manage and drive store sales results. Challenge and inspire sales associates to achieve sales goals. 
- Ensure stores are clean and debris free for the safety of co-workers and guests. 
- Work with Operations Manager to keep stores well stocked and visually merchandised.  
- Ensure the proper transfer of stock to and from the store. 
- Provide front line workers support/help as issues dictate throughout each event. 
- Oversees inventories and monthly cycle counts. 
- Open/Close stores and provide coverage if part-time staff call offs. 
- May be assigned to work in different functions of retail or event types as needed, including e-commerce, hockey games, concerts, warehouse, etc.

Supervisory & Management Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages part-time retail employeesÂ
Game Night Responsibilities
- Assists part-time employees with Retail Cloud Self-Checkout processes and issues
- Ensures store stock stays replenished throughout the nightÂ
- Ensures cleanliness of store and back room throughout the night and during closing
- Assists guests on the sales floor
- Assist the Manager of Retail Operations with merchandising item of the game
- Approximate number of events worked per year: 50
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years retail experience. 
- Prior supervisor experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills. 
- Ability to motivate and help develop a strong team of frontline workers 
- Ability to anticipate challenges and use logic and reasoning to identify/develop solutions.  
- Proven track record of providing best-in-class customer service. 
- Highly organized and self-motivated. 
- Strong knowledge of retail POS systems; experience with Retail Cloud and Self-Checkout a plus 
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.Â
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English languageÂ
- Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.  
- Ability to work in loud environmentsÂ
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbsÂ
- Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying weather conditions and during high-traffic event timesÂ
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidaysÂ
- Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperaturesÂ
