Job Overview We are recruiting aMedicalDirector for the Rosary Hall Withdrawal Management Unit, scheduled to open in January 2027. Located at the Glick Recovery Campus, Rosary Hall will be a 12-bedmedically managed residential treatment program (ASAM Level 3.7).The Glick Recovery Campus is Cuyahoga County’s first 24/7 walk-in behavioral health urgent care and stabilization center, offering people in crisis a safe, welcoming alternative to the emergency department, jail, or the streets. The campus includes a 40-chair crisis receiving center for people experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, a 16-bed voluntary crisis stabilization unit, and the 12-bed Rosary Hall withdrawal management program.TheMedicalDirector will collaborate with theMedicalDirectors of Crisis Services andAddiction Services to oversee residential substance use disorder care at The Centers.Clinically, theMedicalDirector will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute intoxication, withdrawal, substance use disorders, and co-occurringmedical, psychiatric, and cognitive conditions.This role may be combined with additional clinical work in primary care, psychiatry, or outpatient substance use disorder treatment at WinMAT, The Centers’ low-barrieraddiction clinic.About the Centers  The Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, providing comprehensive care tomedically underserved communities. For decades, The Centers has supported people with complex needs through innovative, evidence-based programs, including one of the nation’s oldest single use supply (SSP) programs; low-barrier access to medications for opioid use disorder through our walk-in clinic; an Assertive Community Treatment team; and permanent supportive housing.We believe every person deserves compassionate, evidence-based care, regardless of where they are in their journey. Our services emphasize dignity, engagement, and practical support to help people achieve greater safety, stability, and connection to ongoing care. Qualifications   
  • Graduate of an accreditedmedical school (MD/DO).   
  • OhioMedical License (or eligibility).   
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or psychiatry. Candidates in emergency medicine or OBGYN will also be considered. 
  • Addiction Psychiatry orAddiction Medicine Board Certification (required).   
  Essential Duties & Responsibilities   
  • Provide clinical leadership and direct substance use disorder care within the residential unit 
  • Supervise, train and mentor clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.   
  • Conduct substance use disorder assessments, prescribe medications, and oversee treatment planning.   
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.   
  • Monitor program outcomes, support quality improvement, and contribute to organizational strategy.   
  • Respond tomedical and psychiatric emergencies as needed.   
 Physical & Work Requirements   
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking within a fast-paced clinical environment.   
  • Ability to respond rapidly to emergencies.   
  • Occasional lifting of patients or equipment up to 25 lbs.   
  • Manual dexterity to operatemedical and office equipment.   
  • Visual and auditory acuity required for assessments and communication.   
  • Exposure to individuals in acute psychiatric distress.   
  • Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage as needed.
