Vehicle Wash Attendant - Jim Pattison Lexus Northshore

Jim Pattison Lexus Northshore is seeking anenergetic, reliable, and organizedVehicle Wash Attendantto support our Service Department.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring our vehicles are clean, well-presented, and ready for our customers. You’ll work closely with our Service Team to help maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation and customer experience.

We’re looking for someone whotakes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role.

Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent position with a 40-hour work week. The regular work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay Range: $19.00 to 20.00 per hour, depending on experience

A Day in the Life

• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning 
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
  • Walking and/or standing for long periods
  • Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
