Summer Project Assistant - Animal Control

We are seeking high-energy individuals to join us for the summer.  Our Work Placement Program will run from November 2026 until February 2027 and is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience what a career in local government could be like!

This exciting opportunity is in our Animal Control team. The Kaupapa of this team is to keep our communities safe while supporting the wellbeing of animals. We achieve this through responsible dog management, education, enforcement, and working alongside our community to encourage responsible pet ownership and positive outcomes for both people and animals
