We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiasticSupport Worker to join our team in theStratton St Margaret area of Swindon. Working acrosssupported living and outreach services, you will provide person-centred support, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing while enabling people to live fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support people with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting, and attending appointments.
  • Provide personal care where required and support individuals to maintain their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication in line with training and organisational policies.
  • Encourage independence, choice, and community participation.
  • Follow support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation.
  • Identify and report safeguarding concerns promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • Caring, compassionate, and reliable approach.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and person-centred support.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or physical disabilities.
  • Health and Social Care qualification (Level 2 or above).
  • Full UK driving licence.
