David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a  financial/FX company led by a management team with over 20 years of experience, who is looking to hire Product Owner to join their team in Bangkok.


Position: Product Owner

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Work model: hybrid (4 days office, 1 day Work-From-Home)

Employment type: contract




RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and development priorities

  • Identify opportunities to improve client acquisition, retention, and trading experience

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed product specifications

  • Conduct competitor, market, and industry analysis within Forex, CFD, and FinTech sectors

  • Manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Collaborate with development, design, QA, and third-party technology teams

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and product reviews

  • Monitor project timelines and ensure successful product delivery

  • Drive improvements across client-facing and operational platforms

  • Enhance Client Portal, CRM, and Trader Area functionality

  • Optimise payment, withdrawal, KYC, and onboarding processes

  • Support development of IB and Affiliate portals

  • Identify opportunities to implement AI-powered features and automation initiatives

  • Coordinate with external technology providers and platform vendors

  • Monitor product KPIs and performance metrics

  • Analyse customer feedback, user behaviour, and operational data

  • Recommend product enhancements based on data-driven insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst

  • Experience within Forex, CFD, Brokerage, FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services industries

  • Strong understanding of brokerage operations and customer lifecycle management

  • Experience gathering business requirements and managing product roadmaps

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, KYC processes, and onboarding workflows

  • Knowledge of deposit and withdrawal processes within financial services environments

  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams

  • Familiarity with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms

  • Experience with Affiliate and Introducing Broker (IB) programs

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum product development methodologies

  • Understanding of AI, Generative AI, automation tools, and process optimisation initiatives

  • Experience managing customer-facing portals and mobile applications.
