Patient Transporter - MidShift

MIDSHIFT - 10:30-7P

Position Purpose:

The Transporter performs various procedures and tasks assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, including the surgical patient, under the direction and supervision of a staff nurse at all times. The Transporter transports patients to various areas throughout the hospital including discharge.

Position Qualifications:

 ·  High school graduate or equivalency.

 ·  Must complete the 4-6-week orientation program.

 ·  BCLS required. 

 ·  Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
