Job Overview

We are seeking aData Scientist with strong business-facing product analytics experience to analyze complex data, apply statistical and machine learning techniques, and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Python skills, experience with A/B testing, and the ability to identify practical applications of AI/LLM capabilities for business problems.

This isnot a deep ML/AI engineering role. The position requires a balance of technical data science expertise and business acumen, with strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve business and product analytics problems.
• Design, implement, and interpretA/B tests, including control group setup and efficacy measurement.
• UseSQL and Python to query, transform, analyze, and extract insights from data.
• Work with big data environments, includingSpark, when required.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured, actionable analytical steps.
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate analytical findings.
• Evaluate business problems and recommend appropriate applications ofAI/LLM capabilities.
• Present analytical results, recommendations, and insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Independently drive projects with limited supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus onbusiness-facing product analytics.
• Experience withSQL and Python.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Experience designing and interpretingA/B tests, including control groups and efficacy measurement.
• Strong understanding ofstatistics and machine learning techniques.
• Working knowledge ofAI/LLM capabilities and their practical application to business problems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into smaller, actionable steps.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withfinancial products or financial product analytics.
• Experience withSpark or other big data technologies.
• Proficiency withTableau or similar BI/data visualization tools.
