Data Manager – Data & Commercial Intelligence

About The Role

This hire builds and strengthens data capability across data quality, research, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled commercial intelligence.

The role sits at the intersection of data operations and commercial insight: clean and improve existing datasets, research and create new information, validate what can be trusted, automate what should not be manual, and turn data into qualified commercial opportunities.

The work follows a clear loop: Data Cleaning → Data Creation → Validation → Automation → Commercial Intelligence.

What you’ll do

• Clean, validate, and enrich datasets; find and fix missing or inaccurate information

• Research and source data from relevant internal and external sources

• Keep CRM/ERP information accurate and up to date

• Build data-quality standards and repeatable processes

• Spot repetitive work worth automating and improve those processes

• Support dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence

• Partner with IT and commercial teams on data and AI-enabled initiatives

• Research potential businesses, customers, assets, and opportunities

• Turn raw data into actionable commercial insights and qualified opportunities

What you’ll bring

• Background in Data Science, IT, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems, or a related field

• Strong Excel and data-handling skills

• Experience with datasets, databases, CRM, or ERP systems

• Excellent attention to detail and research ability

• Strong analytical and logical thinking

• Clear written and spoken English

Nice to have: Power BI, SQL, Python, data visualization, automation, or AI experience
