Crane Operator
Location: Abernathy, TX

General Information/Job Summary
Responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Depresses buttons, lifts levers, and ensures load is safely attached to crane before bringing it down.
Responsibilities/Competencies
- Operate a 70 - 100-ton
- May operate crane according to signals from personnel or helper may bolt, pin boom sections together to modify boom lengths.
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Take complete charge of all safety pertaining to set up and knockdown and operation of crane.
- Drives trucks to worksites and unloads trucks.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in OSHA Regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations.
- Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.
- Must possess a current NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.
Safety Requirements
On a continual basis, promotes anawareness ofenvironmental, health and safetypolicies to ensure a safeworkingenvironment andensurescompliancewithallaccompanypolicies.
Ability to pass drug testas mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drugprogram.
Must attend and successfully complete SaulsburyIndustries safety training education.
Attends safetymeetings and specialty training as directed by management.
Attendsvarious training classes as may beassigned by management.
Perform related duties andresponsibilities asrequired.
Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing thework.
