OVERVIEW:
The client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to support a busy Australian Mortgage and Commercial Finance Brokerage. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Australian lending, loan processing, administration, and customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with the broker to ensure loan applications are processed efficiently and clients receive exceptional service throughout the lending process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loan Processing & Administration Â
- Prepare and package residential, commercial, and asset finance loan applicationsÂ
- Collect, review, and organise supporting documentsÂ
- Submit applications to lenders and monitor progressÂ
- Follow up with lenders, BDMs, solicitors, accountants, and clientsÂ
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systemsÂ
- Order valuations and track outstanding requirementsÂ
- Assist with settlements and post-settlement administrationÂ
Client ServiceÂ
- Liaise with clients via email and phoneÂ
- Provide updates on loan application progressÂ
- Schedule appointments and manage broker calendars
- Ensure a high level of customer service at all timesÂ
Compliance & DocumentationÂ
- Maintain electronic client filesÂ
- Ensure documents are complete and compliantÂ
- Assist with lender and aggregator requirementsÂ
- Prepare supporting documentation for credit assessmentsÂ
Marketing & Business SupportÂ
- Assist with social media content schedulingÂ
- Manage client database and follow-up campaignsÂ
- Support referral partner communicationsÂ
- Assist with preparation of presentations and marketing material Skills & Experience
- Previous experience supporting an Australian mortgage brokerÂ
- Strong understanding of Australian residential lending processesÂ
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skillsÂ
- High attention to detailÂ
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesÂ
- Strong organisational and time management skillsÂ
- Hands-on experience with MyCRM is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google WorkspaceÂ
