Lead JavaScript Automation Test Engineer

We are hiring aLead JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to ensure our platforms stay stable, accurate, and trustworthy through strong automated testing. You will coordinate a QA team, manage automation pipelines, and evolve our JavaScript/TypeScript test framework over time.

Responsibilities

• Coach and direct a team of testers, removing blockers and supporting delivery
• Partner with product, engineering, and other functions to elicit and validate system requirements
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and end-to-end testing approaches
• Plan and sequence testing work to maximize coverage and efficiency
• Build and run automation scripts with advanced testing toolsets
• Document defects, share status clearly, and follow issues through verification and closure
• Set quality criteria and ensure alignment with recognized QA best practices
• Measure and review QA metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Research new testing tools and keep pace with technology and best-practice updates
• Provide valuable input in QA discussions and broader testing activities

Requirements

• Deep background in Automation Testing with heavy JavaScript exposure (8–12 years)
• Demonstrated experience coding with JavaScript and TypeScript (4–6 years)
• Leadership practice in a QA capacity for at least 1 year
• Working proficiency with UI Automation frameworks including Playwright, Mocha, Chai, Jest, Puppeteer, or Cypress
• Experience with Web Service and API Test Automation, from test case creation to automation framework building
• Strong command of Webdriver I/O for user interface testing
• English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or above
