CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver – Good Pay + $5K Bonus | Home Daily

Earn approximately$70,000 per year operating a dedicated, no-touch frozen grocery shuttle account. Shuttle reefer trailers between distribution and relay yards, with occasional local support work as needed.

Job Details

• Shuttle frozen grocery loads in reefer trailers betweenWestfield, MA, and relay yards inMilford or West Haven, CT
• Drop-and-hook, no-touch shuttle freight
• Complete at least 3 shuttles per day; typical volume is 5–10 shuttles
• May include trailer moves, store transfers, local backhauls, and other account support
• No deliveries in New York City
• Store deliveries, when needed, may include 2–3 stops per trailer, electric pallet jack unloading, returns, or backhaul pickups
• Automatic trucks with slip-seat operation
• Trucks cannot be taken home
• Reliable personal transportation required

Shift Details

• Home Daily
• Monday–Friday
• Start time: approximately3:00–4:00 PM
• 6th-day work may be required during mandatory holiday periods, potentially for three consecutive weeks
• Holiday work is required when a holiday falls on a scheduled workday and the account is operating
• Thanksgiving: Off
• Christmas: Off
• New Year’s: Not guaranteed

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of truck driving experience
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to operate safely and legally at all times
• No SAP Drivers
• DOT Medical card
• Ability to complete pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor and trailer tires
• Willingness to assist with supermarket deliveries, intermodal work, or other dedicated accounts as needed
• No riders or pets
