Senior Android / Kotlin Multiplatform Engineer

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Android / Kotlin Multiplatform Engineer to take ownership of an Android application and the sharedKotlin Multiplatform (KMP) business logic layer supporting a modern mobile platform.

In this role, you will work across the full mobile stack, collaborating closely with backend and mobile engineering teams to integrate APIs, define contracts, and deliver secure and seamless mobile experiences. You will also contribute to the evolution of a shared ecosystem used across bothAndroid and iOS applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and maintain theAndroid application and shared KMP business logic layer
• Design and implement sharedKotlin Multiplatform modules, including network services, API clients, and business logic
• Build modern Android interfaces usingJetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and Hilt
• Collaborate with backend teams to defineAPI contracts and OpenAPI specifications
• Integrate mobile applications with backend microservices throughREST APIs
• Implement secure authentication flows usingMSAL, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
• ManageFirebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging (FCM)
• Write and maintain unit, UI, and integration tests
• Apply Android security best practices, including secure token management
• Support GDPR-compliant consent management integrations
• Develop and maintain secureWebView-based flows, including payments and identity verification
• Support and enhance AndroidCI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate closely with Android, iOS, backend, QA, and DevOps teams

• University degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong proficiency inKotlin
• Strong hands-on experience withKotlin Multiplatform (KMP), including shared modules, expect/actual, Coroutines, and Flow
• Solid Android development experience usingJetpack Compose and MVVM architecture
• Hands-on experience withHilt dependency injection
• Experience withKtor HTTP Client and kotlinx.serialization
• Experience withREST APIs and OpenAPI-generated API clients
• Familiarity withMSAL, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
• Experience withFirebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and FCM
• Good understanding of Android security best practices, including secure token storage withAndroid Keystore
• Experience withGradle Kotlin DSL and dependency management using version catalogs
• Strong knowledge ofAndroid Studio, debugging tools, and performance profiling
• Experience with automated testing usingMockK, Espresso, and Compose UI testing
• Experience working within anAgile development environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with consent management platforms such asOneTrust
• Familiarity withGraphQL and headless CMS platforms such as Sitecore XM Cloud
• Experience withAndroid WebView for complex integrations
• Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps
• Experience contributing toshared SDKs or cross-platform mobile architectures
• Familiarity withAzure DevOps
