Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedCypress Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites usingCypress to ensure the quality and performance of our web applications. Your role will be crucial in enabling continuous integration and delivery pipelines, improving test coverage, and ensuring high standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases usingCypress.io for web applications.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA testers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).

• Perform regression testing and analyze test failures to identify root causes.

• Develop and maintain reusable test scripts and utilities to improve testing efficiency.

• Monitor, report, and triage bugs, performance issues, and flaky tests.

• Ensure test data management and environment readiness for automation execution.

• Contribute to test plans, test strategies, and QA documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably withCypress.

• Proficient inJavaScript orTypeScript.

• Experience testingRESTful APIs and web applications.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Familiarity withGit,CI/CD tools, andtest runners (e.g., Mocha, Jest).

• Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging
