Business Consulting - P&C Commercial

We're looking for a seasonedBusiness Consulting professional with P&C Commercial insurance expertise to act as a subject matter expert and hands-on consultant, using their domain knowledge to support client projects, solutioning, delivery, and business transformation efforts spanning underwriting, pricing, claims, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary subject matter expert on P&C Commercial insurance topics such as underwriting, rating/pricing, policy administration, claims, product configuration, risk/exposure management, workflow, and regulatory matters
• Bring practical consulting and delivery expertise to client engagements by turning domain knowledge into real-world project solutions and transformation initiatives
• Examine complex insurance products, policies, processes, workflows, and data to uncover improvement opportunities and deliver actionable insights
• Offer specialized knowledge in Pricing/Rating capabilities, covering rating models, pricing processes, rating engines, product rules, premium calculations, and their operational effects
• Oversee successful fulfillment of client requirements, including hands-on involvement in RFP responses, solution design, estimations, and proposal creation
• Support insurance thought leadership efforts through white papers, POVs, client presentations, and market-facing materials
• Spot and define AI/GenAI-driven use cases throughout the P&C insurance value chain, spanning underwriting, rating/pricing, claims, servicing, fraud, and operational efficiency
• Lead POCs and accelerators shaped by recent client project needs, ensuring they deliver practical, measurable business value

Requirements

• 13-18 years of total IT experience, with at least 10 years dedicated to the Insurance industry and a strong emphasis on P&C Commercial lines
• Practical experience in consulting, business analysis, product management, transformation, or delivery functions within P&C Commercial insurance
• Proficiency in at least two of these P&C Commercial insurance areas: Pricing/Rating, Underwriting, Policy Administration/Renewal/Maintenance
• Capabilities in Product Configuration, Risk/Exposure Management, Claims, Workflow Management, Billing, or Premium Processing
• Experience with Pricing/Rating, including commercial rating models, rating algorithms, pricing workflows, bureau/ISO factors, and rating platform implementations
• Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI/LLM applications within insurance, along with the ability to explain relevant use cases, business value, adoption factors, responsible AI implications, and regulatory considerations
• Strong collaboration skills, along with excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication abilities

Nice to have

• Practical experience with GenAI tools, AI-assisted platforms, analytics tools, or automation solutions
• Knowledge of tools like Confluence, JIRA, Rally, or comparable agile/collaboration platforms
• Experience with COTS insurance products, rating engines, policy administration platforms, or system integration projects
