## Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior or Staff Full Stack Engineer  (7 years+ of experience, L3-L4-L5 level) to join our small, high-impact engineering team. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about both building modern, secure infrastructure and delivering intuitive user experiences in a fast-paced, self-organizing environment.

## Must-Have Qualifications

* Full Stack Expertise: L3-L4-L5+ level engineer (7 years+ of experience, Senior/Staff/Principal), comfortable across front-end and back-end.
* Modern Stack Experience: Proficiency in Node.js, JS/Typescript, PostgreSQL or MySQL, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vite, or Svelte).
* Start-Up Mindset: Prior experience in a small, self-driven team; thrives in ambiguity, proactive and self-organizing.
* Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English.
* Platform Experience: Hands-on expertise with AWS services, GCP, Vercel or similar
* Security & Compliance: Deep practical knowledge of building secure, compliant software systems (security by design, data governance, auditability, regulatory compliance).

## Nice-to-Have Skills

* Platform Technologies: Familiarity with Vercel, Redis, Okta, and other modern cloud tools.
* Advanced Database Experience: DBA-level depth in PostgreSQL.
* AI Application Experience: Building or integrating with AI-powered chat, voice, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
* HealthTech Background: Experience building for healthcare, especially clinical trials.
* High Compliance Experience: Built or operated systems in highly regulated industries (healthcare, finance, etc).

## What You’ll Do

* Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-compliance web applications and APIs.
* Own features end-to-end—from requirements through production monitoring.
* Lead by example in code quality, technical decision-making, and process improvements.
* Collaborate closely with product, design, and compliance experts to deliver patient-friendly solutions.
* Mentor teammates and help foster a culture of learning and trust.
