Job Summary

Client is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer / Critical Facility Architect to lead the design and implementation of critical facility power systems supporting IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for data centers, communication rooms, and critical facilities.
Design and oversee generators, backup batteries, power boards, and 48VDC systems.
Develop power system architectures, technical designs, specifications, and standards.
Provide technical leadership to engineering and project teams.
Manage project requirements, budgets, and implementation.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and other architecture teams.
Mentor team members and support process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of IT engineering design experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years.
Experience with enterprise technology and architecture environments.
Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) preferred.
Experience with radio systems and project management preferred.
Leadership experience required; PMP certification is a plus.

Compensation:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $155,000.00 – 210,000.00annually.
