Who we are

What You Will Do

You'll make sure every mock exam runs on time, to the rules, and with students feeling supported.

• Exam set-up and pack-down: Arrange exam rooms, seating and materials to the run sheet, then reset the venue once the session ends.
• Check-in and attendance: Greet students, mark attendance accurately and flag absentees to the Event Delivery Lead.
• Invigilation: Supervise exam rooms under strict test conditions, keep accurate timing, and collect and secure all exam papers.
• Student conduct and wellbeing: Monitor the room, deal with issues calmly, and support students with approved Special Examination Arrangements as directed.
• Team communication: Follow briefings from the Event Delivery Lead, report incidents promptly and share feedback in daily team huddles.

What You Will Bring

• Availability for the full exam block from 19th to 23rd October, plus training the week prior.
• A validWorking with Children Check for Victoria (or willingness to obtain one before the exam block).
• CompletedYear 12 in Australia (VCE preferred), with a clear understanding of exam conditions.
• High attention to detail with timing, attendance records and exam papers.
• Calm under pressure, able to handle late arrivals, questions and on-the-day surprises without fuss.
• Clear, friendly communication with students, parents and colleagues.
• Flexibility to travel across our Melbourne venues as rostered.
• Experience intutoring, mentoring, exam invigilation or event work is desirable but not required.

Contour is looking for calm, organised and reliableMock Exam Invigilators to join our Operations team on acasual basis.

You'll help deliver our VCE mock exams acrossNarre Warren, Melbourne CBD, Point Cook, Springvale, Glen Waverley (Railway Parade) and Box Hill, giving students a full rehearsal of real exam conditions before the real thing.

Please note: we are seeking candidates available for our exam block from 19th to 23rd October, with paid training held the week prior.

Reporting to ourEvent Delivery Lead, you'll be on the floor from set-up to pack-down: checking students in, running the exam room tostrict exam conditions, and making sure every student is supported on the day. If you remember what it felt like to sit your own VCE exams, this is your chance to make that week easier for someone else.
