ABOUT THE ROLEÂ
As Formwork Carpenter, you’ll be working alongside our team on projects in and around the Lower North Island region, producing high quality foundation pads and structures.
You will have:
- 3 years of verifiable work experience
- Alternatively, a relevant trade qualification (level 4 preferred)
- Experience in mainstream formwork carpentry would be preferred
- A commitment to health and safety
Job duties include
- Constructing formwork, falsework and other timber structures
- Operating items of small plant and machinery on which you have been deemed competent
- Manual labor including lifting, carrying and shoveling
- Assisting all other trades on site to allow tasks to be completed as efficiently as possible
- Spotting plant and machinery
- Placing concrete
- Collecting and/or delivering materials
- Site cleaning duties and general housekeeping
This is a hands on role where you'll be able to utilize your experience from across the building industry and other related projects. Ordinary days of work are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm. Minimum guaranteed hours are 40 hours per week.
