Work Location: North Sulawesi 

This career professional is Compassion's primary liaison to the local church and is responsible for strengthening local ownership, capacity and resources of local church partners to minister to children and youth in their own context. As the primary liaison, this facilitator is responsible for developing relationships with church partners and denominational leaders that are characterized by mutual respect, trust, and service that builds up church ministry. He or she is accountable for managing partner relationships through the Partner Management core process, for improving achievement of church outcomes, and for bringing a developmental mindset to all other aspects of the partnership, including mobilizing staff and other resources to support the church. At this career level, the incumbent generally conducts projects independently or participates as a team member for major, complex, or international initiatives. He or she may coach and oversee the work of other facilitators.

Qualifications
  • Indonesian citizen
  • Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Social Sciences, Christian Ministry, Management or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in community development, partnership management, or relevant field
  • Prior experience working in North Sulawesi areas is preferred. Candidates should be willing to relocate to North Sulawesi with their family, if required.
  • Bilingual with advanced proficiency in Business English (speaking and writing)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and comfortable with internet applications
  • Flexible with working hours when necessary
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated integrity, initiative, and adaptability
  • Skilled in program cycle management across areas such as WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education, Livelihood development, and grant management
  • Ability to develop and maintain networks for partnerships, strategic alliances and local resource mobilization
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data, assess partner and program needs, identify trends, and translate insights into data-informed decisions that strengthen partnerships and improve ministry outcomes.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to child protection issues is highly preferred

Travel Requirements
  • May be required to travel up to 50% of normal schedule
