Senior Automation & Electrical Design Engineer (f/m)

We are looking for an experiencedAutomation Professional with a broad skill set coveringelectrical design, automation systems, and commissioning. This role is ideal for a senior expert who can take ownership across the full lifecycle of industrial automation solutions - from design to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrialelectrical and automation systems

• Create electrical designs, schematics, and documentation using industry tools

• Program and configurePLC, HMI, and SCADA systems

• Select and dimension electrical components, drives, and instrumentation

• Ensure compliance withmachinery safety standards and regulations

• Work with industrial communication systems and integrate automation architectures

• Participate intesting, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems

• Act as a senior specialist supporting projects and technical decisions

Your Profile

• B.Sc.or M.Sc.Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Information Technology

• Extensive experience in industrial electrical and automation engineering

• Strong knowledge ofmachinery safety standards and requirements

• Proven experience inelectrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, Cadmatic, E3, or equivalent

• Solid expertise inPLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell, Valmet DNA)

• Experience withSCADA/HMI systems (e.g. TIA Portal, WinCC, InTouch, System Platform)

• Familiarity withindustrial fieldbuses (e.g. Profinet, Profibus)

• Hands-on experience withindustrial drives and motion systems (ABB, Siemens, Vacon), including commissioning

• Experience withsafety PLCs is required

• Ability to select and dimensioncabling, protections, and instrumentation

• Experience insystem commissioning and troubleshooting

Additional Advantages

• Experience withhigh-voltage systems (>1000 V)

• Familiarity with advanced tools such asVitec Alma or similar

• Broad understanding of end-to-end automation project delivery
