Position Summary

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworkingHousekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facility areas.

• Follow established cleaning and infection-control procedures.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.

• Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills.

• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and staff.

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
