Senior Payments & Operations Specialist (Dubai)

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Payments & Operations Specialist to join a fast-growing FinTech/Payments business in Dubai.

This is a hands-on role coveringbanking, payment providers, fiat and crypto transactions, reconciliation, liquidity and operational support. You will work closely with Finance, Technology, Compliance and Support teams and take ownership of payment-related issues from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage relationships withbanks, PSPs and payment partners, including onboarding, integrations and day-to-day communication.

• Handle payment issues end-to-end, working with the relevant provider or payment rail to resolve them.

• Managerefunds, disputes, chargebacks and RFIs.

• Monitor liquidity across multiple banking, payment and crypto providers and flag potential shortfalls.

• Carry out regularreconciliation across payment flows, FX positions and account balances.

• Investigate discrepancies and work with Finance and Technology to resolve them.

• Investigatecrypto transactions across different blockchains, using blockchain explorers and internal tools.

• Execute crypto exchanges and support day-to-day crypto payment operations.

• Monitor unusual or suspicious transactions and escalate relevant cases to Compliance and senior management.

• Act as an escalation point for complex payment issues raised by the Support team and communicate directly with clients when required.

• Maintain client profiles and support various back-office operational tasks.

• Work closely withFinance, Technology, Support and Compliance across the business.

• Create and maintainSOPs and identify opportunities to improve and automate processes.

• UseAI tools to automate reporting, workflows and other repetitive operational tasks.

• Support the training and development of more junior members of the Operations team.

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience inPayments, Banking Operations, FinTech, Forex, Crypto or a similar environment.

• Strong understanding of payment rails includingSWIFT, SEPA and Faster Payments.

• Good knowledge offiat and crypto payment flows and banking integrations.

• Hands-on experience withreconciliation, disputes, chargebacks, RFIs and transaction monitoring.

• Comfortable investigating blockchain transactions and dealing with different crypto networks.

• Good understanding ofAML, fraud and compliance escalation procedures.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Highly autonomous and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.

• Strong ownership mentality — you take an issue through to resolution rather than passing it on.

• Confident communicating with banks, PSPs, clients and internal stakeholders.

• Comfortable working with incomplete processes and helping build better ones.

• Experience creating or maintainingSOPs and improving operational processes.

• Practical experience usingAI tools to improve efficiency and automate parts of your workflow.
