Job Description: 

We are looking for anL1 Software Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to build, enhance, test, and support modern web applications and backend services.

The ideal candidate has solid development experience inC#/.NET Core, React, REST APIs, and relational databases, along with a good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, source control, testing, and CI/CD practices.

Experience withGCP, JFrog, containerization, and AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs usingC# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Build responsive web applications and reusable UI components usingReact and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Design, develop, integrate, and troubleshootRESTful APIs.
• Develop data-access components and write efficient SQL queries usingPostgreSQL, AlloyDB, or equivalent relational databases.
• Implement clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and testable code following established engineering standards.
• Develop and maintainunit and integration tests.
• Debug application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate fixes.
• UseGit/Bitbucket for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Work withJFrog Artifactory or equivalent artifact repositories for package and artifact management.
• Participate in application build, deployment, andCI/CD activities.
• Follow best practices forsecurity, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, QA, Product Owners, DevOps/Platform teams, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies includingstand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• UseGitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Continuously learn and adopt relevant technologies, tools, and engineering practices.

Required Technical Skills

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills inC# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience developing web applications usingReact.
• Good knowledge ofJavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and consumingRESTful APIs.
• Experience withPostgreSQL, AlloyDB, or equivalent relational databases.
• Good understanding ofSQL, database design, and data-access concepts.
• Strong understanding ofobject-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience withGit, Bitbucket, or equivalent source-control platforms.
• Understandingunit testing, debugging, exception handling, and application logging.
• Good understanding ofHTTP, JSON, authentication/authorization, and web application fundamentals.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Hands-on or project experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure GCP services forapplication hosting, databases, APIs, or integration.
• Experience withJFrog Artifactory or equivalent artifact management solutions.
• Exposure toGit-based CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Experience withDocker and containerized applications.
• Exposure tomicroservices architecture and distributed applications.
• Experience withEntity Framework Core or equivalent ORM frameworks.
• Understandingapplication security and secure coding practices.
• Experience usingGitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted development tools.
