Senior Software Engineer (Metal Processing Software)

By ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technologies (SMT), you willbe responsible for high-quality software development as part of a well-functioning team, review code commits, mentor junior colleagues, design and follow CI/CD processes, and collaborate closely with the software architect and requirements engineer.  

The role ofSenior Software Engineer will involve: 

• Develophigh quality software solution as part of a well-functioning team 

• Review code commits 

• Bementor for junior colleagues 

• Design and followCI/CD processes 

• Technical alignmentwith stakeholders 

• Work together closely with software architect and requirement engineer  

YourExperience 

• A degree in business information technology or a comparable qualification 

• Confident handling ofC# and.NET 8 

• Confident handling ofWPF,  

• Knowledge of the use ofWCF andGraphQLfamework,  

• Knowledge of the usemachine communication protocols, likeOPCUA 

• Understanding ofcomponent level software designe.g. OOP, SOLID, Softwaredesign patterns (GoF) 

It would be desirable if you had:  

• Experience inindustrial automation. It is an advantage ifdidn’t only work with, but already designed a SCADA system 

• System thinking mindset: able to understand the machine’s operation and the software at the system level. 

• Confidence inEnglish communication. Additional German knowledge is an advantage
