Senior Java Developer

We are looking for aSenior Java Developer to design and build secure backend services and REST APIs for an asset movement platform in a wealth management domain. Responsibilities

• Design secure backend services and API contracts for platform capabilities
• Build backend microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain high-quality code aligned with engineering standards
• Conduct code review to ensure readability, security, and maintainability
• Implement unit tests and support automated quality practices in CI
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to support reliable releases and operations
• Estimate development tasks and contribute to planning and delivery commitments
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and align on sprint goals and progress

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java development in production environments
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem for backend services
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and development for secure services
• Solid project experience with Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and planning
• Strong hard skills in microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and CI practices
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven integration
• Good understanding of full-stack application design and data modeling
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across engineering, QA, and DevOps
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for daily communication

• APIs and Integration experience across internal and external systems
• Github Copilot experience with GenAI-assisted development workflows
• Solution Architecture experience for secure services and platform design
