Responsibilities

• Build backend microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain clean, reliable code aligned with team standards
• Write unit tests with JUnit to ensure high coverage and correctness
• Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback to peers
• Apply engineering best practices such as CI, code review, and testing
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, planning, and estimation sessions
• Collaborate with distributed teammates to deliver sprint commitments
• Mentor developers and support consistent technical execution
• Investigate defects and performance issues and implement fixes
• Learn new technologies and patterns as needed to support delivery

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience in production systems
• Hands-on REST API development experience for backend services
• Solid SQL skills with relational database design and querying
• Proven code review and quality assurance discipline
• Strong unit testing skills with JUnit and test-driven practices
• Agile Scrum experience with estimation and sprint ceremonies
• Mentoring or technical leadership experience supporting other developers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

• Experience with GitHub Copilot
• Familiarity with Microservice Architecture Style
