Chief DevOps Engineer

We are looking for aChief DevOps Engineer to steer secure, scalable cloud and platform infrastructure while governing CI/CD and operational excellence. You will set architectural direction across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and drive GitOps automation with strong security and SOC 2 alignment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and administer Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments
• Design and maintain CI/CD platforms and automation workflows
• Implement ArgoCD and GitOps practices across deployment pipelines
• Configure and harden NGINX, including header protection enforcement
• Remediate vulnerabilities identified through security tools and penetration testing
• Apply Git best practices and branching strategies across teams
• Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure
• Enforce infrastructure security and hardening measures aligned with SOC 2 compliance
• Document architecture through HLD/LLD, diagrams, and ADRs
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning

Requirements

• Proven 7+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles
• Deep expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
• Solid background in traditional datacenter, converged (CI), and hyperconverged (HCI) infrastructure for mission-critical, high-availability environments
• Hands-on knowledge of server architecture, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, and switching
• Familiarity with networking hardware from Cisco, Aruba (HPE), Fortinet, Meraki, A10, and Dell
• Proven track record in infrastructure security architecture, IAM, RBAC, and network security (firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS)
• Practical experience with storage architecture (SAN, NAS, object storage), backup and recovery, and data replication strategies
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Deep understanding of monitoring and observability practices, including logs, metrics, alerts, and SLA/SLO planning
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
