Automation Tester (Java)

We're currently seeking an Automation Tester to join our growing team. The successful applicant will bring strong capabilities in Java-based test automation, direct experience working with Selenium and REST API testing, and a solid grasp of web application security fundamentals along with typical OWASP concerns.

Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, and continually update automated test scripts using Java
• Set up and manage ongoing UI automation initiatives built on the Selenium platform
• Produce automated test cases aimed at REST APIs and related backend infrastructure
• Verify that security patches addressing vulnerabilities have been implemented correctly and that all flagged concerns are completely addressed
• Carry out cycles of functional, integration, and regression testing after security updates, dependency changes, and other application adjustments
• Confirm results and fix effectiveness by using Veracode or equivalent SAST, SCA, and DAST tools
• Team up with developers to reproduce security-related bugs and validate that corrections have been correctly put in place
• Make certain that security corrections don't create fresh complications within functionality essential to the business
• Assess automated testing outcomes, identify unsuccessful cases, and contribute to determining root causes
• Handle validation work at both API and database levels as circumstances require
• Maintain close collaboration with development staff, QA peers, product stakeholders, and other team contributors
• Support ongoing enhancement of test coverage, automated processes, and quality benchmarks across application portfolios

Requirements

• Two or more years of practical, applied experience in Java-based automated testing
• Strong hands-on familiarity with the Selenium tool
• Notable experience testing and confirming the functionality of REST APIs
• Prior work incorporating and executing automated testing within CI/CD pipeline structures
• Functional understanding of web application security fundamentals and typical OWASP-related risks
• Ability to evaluate and confirm the effectiveness of security-focused fixes
• Direct experience carrying out functional, integration, and regression test types
• Keen troubleshooting capability paired with strong analytical reasoning
• Ability to function well within existing enterprise system environments and manage complicated business workflows
• Strong SQL knowledge combined with practical database validation experience
• Workable communication ability along with English fluency at B2 level or above, supporting understanding of business needs and their conversion into agentic architectures

Nice to have

• Prior work embedding and maintaining automated tests inside CI/CD pipeline setups
• Hands-on familiarity with Veracode or similar tools used for security testing
• Background working with SAST, SCA, and/or DAST tools along with skill in interpreting their results
• Experience testing applications built on Spring or Spring Boot technology
• Practical background performing regression testing and automation within older, established enterprise systems
• Experience testing applications undergoing changes related to dependencies, frameworks, or security upgrades
• Background in either building new or modernizing existing large-scale, complex systems
