Spa & Locker Room Attendant



Reports to: Spa Manager
The Madison Club is seeking an energetic, service-oriented, and self-motivated Spa & Locker Room Attendant to provide an exceptional five-star experience for our Members and Guests. This highly visible role is essential to the daily operation of both the Spa and Ladies Locker Room and serves as a vital liaison between the Spa Reception team, Therapists, and Members.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment, enjoys building genuine relationships with Members, and takes pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. This position requires someone who can multitask effectively, anticipate Member needs, remain calm under pressure, and work independently while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. In addition to maintaining the locker room and spa facilities, this role operates the Ladies Lounge juice and smoothie bar, assists with food and beverage service, and supports the spa team by ensuring smooth communication and efficient daily operations.

The Madison Club operates during the winter and spring season. This is a full-time seasonal position from October through June. Candidates must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. PTO requests during March and April (our busiest event and festival months) are generally not approved.

Key Responsibilities 

Member Experience 

  • Deliver exceptional service to Members and Guests at all times.  

  • Welcome Members warmly by name whenever possible and create a friendly, engaging environment through genuine conversation.  

  • Build positive relationships with Members byanticipating needs and providing personalized service.  

  • Escort spa guests throughout the locker room and spa facilities while explaining amenities and services.  

  • Ensure Members feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for throughout their visit.  

 

Juice & Smoothie Bar / Lounge Service 

  • Operate the Ladies Lounge juice and smoothie bar.  

  • Prepare smoothies, juices, coffees, teas, and other beverages according to Club standards.  

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide attentive lounge service.  

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the beverage station.  

  • Deliver prompt, courteous service whilemaintaining presentation standards.  

 

Spa & Locker Room Operations 

  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout the locker room, spa, lounge, treatment rooms, showers, vanities, restrooms, and outdoor relaxation areas.  

  • Restock towels, robes, sandals, lockers, toiletries, water, beverages, amenities, and retail displays throughout the day.  

  • Remove soiled linens andmaintain organization of the linen room.  

  • Ensure treatment rooms are properly reset and prepared between services.  

  • Monitor facility appearance continuously and address cleanliness concernsimmediately.  

 

Team Support 

  • Serve as a liaison betweenSpaCoordinator, Therapists, and Members by communicating schedule updates, member arrivals, special requests, and operational needs.  

  • Assist therapists withroom turnovers and operational support to ensure appointmentsremain on schedule.  

  • SupportSpa Coordinatorduring busy periods by answering phones,assisting Members, or directing guests as needed.  

  • Assist with monthly linen and inventory counts.  

  • Support fellow team members throughout the spa wheneveradditional assistance is needed.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilemaintaining a calm, positive attitude.  

  • Prioritize multiple tasks without sacrificing service quality.  

  • Demonstrate initiative byidentifying tasks that need attention without waiting for direction.  

  • Maintain all health, sanitation, and safety standards.  

  • Performadditional duties as assigned.  

 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Previous hospitality, luxury service, restaurant, lounge, country club, or spa experience preferred.  

  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.  

  • Naturally outgoing personality with the ability to engage Members in friendly conversation whilemaintaining professionalism.  

  • Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills.  

  • Ability to remain composed and productive during high-volume periods.  

  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.  

  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.  

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.  

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.  

  • Ability tolift up to 40 pounds and remain standing and walking for extended periods.  

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements 

  • Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.  

  • Lift, carry, and move linens, supplies, and inventory up to 40 pounds.  

  • Bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning and stocking tasks.  

  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is$18- $21and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
