Job Summary:
The “Senior Test Engineer” will be based inFlex GDL South, reporting to Test Engineering Manager
TheSenior Test Engineer leads and supports the development, integration, validation, and improvement of test systems for electronic products. This role works closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and technical teams to troubleshoot test failures, improve yields, develop test programs, and ensure reliable test processes and equipment in production.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Lead and coordinate test engineering activities for electronic products and systems.
- Develop, modify, and support test programs for electronic products.
- Develop and maintain test hardware, software, fixtures, procedures, and process documentation.
- Analyze test data and failures, performroot cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve test yield.
- Support equipment installation, verification, calibration, integration, and troubleshooting in production.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and technical reports.
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to resolve test-related issues.
- Train and support test technicians and operators on test equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Evaluate and implement new test technologies, tools, and procedures.
- Ensure test processes meet product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree inElectrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Test Engineering, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
- Experience developing and troubleshootingelectronic test systems and equipment.
- Experience withIn-Circuit, Functional, or System/Software Testing.
- Experienci withAOI’s & X Rays.
- Experience with test equipment such asoscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Programming experience withPython, LabVIEW, Perl, TestStand or similar languages.
- Knowledge ofDFT, root cause analysis, test coverage, and yield improvement.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced English.
