🎯 The Role

As aSenior SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Consultant, you will work at the intersection of data platforms, enterprise BI, and operational continuity, supporting our client in atargeted SAP BusinessObjects platform upgrade.

You will join a short‑term, high‑impact assignment focused on upgrading an existingSAP BO BI Platform 4.3 environment while ensuring service continuity, high technical quality, and a clean knowledge transfer to internal teams.

📍Job location: Paris, France (hybrid - highly preferred)
🕒Contract type: Freelancer / B2B Contractor
🗓Target start date: July
⏰Working hours: Full‑time (project‑based)
📆Contract duration: July to September
💵Compensation: Daily rate €400 – €650 (depending on location and experience)

💥 Your Impact

In this role, you will:

• Perform theupgrade of a SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.3 sandbox environment to a higher Support Pack, including all necessary pre‑checks, execution, and post‑upgrade validation

• Ensurecontinuity of service through proper testing, risk mitigation, and controlled delivery

• Produceclear installation, configuration, and upgrade documentation

• Createend‑user training materials covering both standard and newly introduced functionalities

• Configure and validateSSO and Azure Active Directory integrations

• Configure and validateMicrosoft OneDrive integration with SAP BO

• Work with and validate features such asWorkflow Assistant

• Execute aclean handover to internal SAP BO Administrators, ensuring autonomy after project completion

• Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders throughout the assignment

👤 What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

• Proven experience deliveringSAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x platform upgrades in enterprise environments

• Strong, in‑depth knowledge ofSAP BO architecture

• Hands‑on experience configuring and validatingSSO and Azure Active Directory integration

• Experience configuring and validatingMicrosoft OneDrive integration with SAP BO

• Experience working withWorkflow Assistant

• Demonstrated ability to producehigh‑quality technical documentation, including upgrade plans, test scripts, training materials, and handover guides

• Ability to workindependently, manage priorities, and deliver within defined timelines

• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

• Fluent English

Nice-to-haves

• Availability or willingness to work inhybrid mode in Paris

• Professional working proficiency in French

• Previous experience inconsulting or project‑based environments

• Experience supportingshort‑term, high‑criticality upgrade projects
