Role Details

📍Job location: Cartaxo (Vila Chã de Ourique) or Trofa, Portugal (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite per week)

💵Compensation: 30k to 38k gross year

📋 What You'll Architect

AsaPowerBIConsultant,youwillhelporganisationstransformdataintomeasurableoutcomesbycombiningtechnology,analytics,businessintelligence,andhumandecision-making.

This role is both technical and consultative — perfect for someone who can combine hands-onPower BI development, business process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. Reporting directly toGeneral Management, you will play an active role in a strategic modernisation initiative, helping the organisation improve decision-making, automate processes, and optimise its use of data and technology.

• Design, develop, and maintainPower BI dashboards, reports, and data models

• Contribute to the organisation'sdigital transformation and process digitalisation initiatives

• Support theautomation of business processes and operational procedures

• Analyse business data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement

• Translate business requirements into scalable and impactful reporting solutions

• Develop and optimiseSQL queries to support analytics and reporting needs

• Promote the optimisation and effective use ofERP systems and management tools

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and management teams to support data-driven decision-making

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy across the organisation

🛠️ What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree inInformation Technology, Business Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Digital Transformation, or Business Process Improvement

• Experience working closely withbusiness stakeholders and management teams

• Experience supportingdata-driven decision-making within operational environments

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives from requirements gathering through delivery

• Professional proficiency inEnglish and Portuguese

• Availability to travel betweenCartaxo and Trofa when required

• Portuguese or European citizenship, or a valid work permit for Portugal

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience withPower BI

• Advanced knowledge ofDAX, Power Query, data modelling, and dashboard design best practices

• StrongSQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets

• Experience analysingbusiness performance metrics and KPIs

• Ability to gather, challenge, and translate business requirements into actionable reporting solutions

• Experience supportingprocess digitalisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Understanding ofERP systems and business management tools

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Understanding ofBusiness Intelligence, data governance, and reporting best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience inmanufacturing, industrial, production, logistics, or supply chain environments

• Experience contributing todigital transformation programmes

• Experience in consulting or client-facing environments

• Knowledge ofprocess automation tools (Power Automate or similar)

• Exposure to international projects or multicultural teams

• Microsoft certifications related toPower BI, Data Analytics, or Azure Data

• Bottom of the range
  You meet the core requirements and will need ramp-up time and support.

• Middle of the range
  You are fully autonomous from Day 1 and deliver consistently.

• Top of the range
  You are a reference for the role, mentor others, and raise the bar for the team.
