💵Compensation: 45k gross year to 60k gross year / or B2B 280 to 350 euros/day

📋 What You'll Architect

As anAI Engineer, you will help organisations transform complexity into measurable outcomes by combining technology, data, intelligence, and human decision-making.

This role is both technical and consultative — perfect for someone who can combineAI solution development,LLM engineering, and a strongData Engineering foundation to deliver scalable and production-ready intelligent systems. We’re looking for professionals who think like architects and act like builders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintainLLM-powered pipelines for processing and automating customer requests.

• Design and implementdata ingestion,data preprocessing, and enrichment pipelines for unstructured data sources, including emails, PDFs, images, and documents.

• Developclassification,routing, and decision workflows for customer inquiries.

• Applyprompt engineering best practices and continuously improve model performance and output quality.

• Implementstructured outputs andHuman-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows to ensure reliability and business adoption.

• Ensure production readiness throughtesting,CI/CD,containerisation, and monitoring.

• Contribute toAI architecture design, scalability, and engineering standards.

• Monitor, evaluate, and optimise AI systems usingLLM observability tools and performance metrics.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate AI solutions into existing processes and workflows.

🛠️ What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or related fields.

• Strong professional experience developingproduction-grade Python applications.

• Proven experience building and maintainingLLM-based solutions and intelligent workflows.

• Experience working withunstructured data processing pipelines.

• Ability to work independently in multidisciplinary and distributed teams.

• Professional proficiency inEnglish.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong expertise in:Python; FastAPI; Async programming patterns; REST APIs; and PostgreSQL

• Hands-on experience withOpenAI SDK, LangChain, LangGraph orsimilar LLM orchestration frameworks

• Strong experience inPrompt Engineering, LLM evaluation, Structured outputs and Human-in-the-Loop workflows

• SolidData Engineering background, including data pipelines, ingestion, preprocessing and working with unstructured datasets

• Experience with:Docker; CI/CD pipelines;testing practices; and production deployments

• Practical experience usingAI-assisted development tools such asGitHub Copilot,Codex,Claude Code, or similar.

Nice to Have

• German or French proficiency is highly valued

• Experience withKafka,RabbitMQ,Azure Service Bus, or other event-driven architectures.

• Experience withLangfuse or other LLM observability platforms.

• Experience within theMicrosoft Azure ecosystem, including Container Apps, IAM, KEDA, and secrets management.

• Knowledge ofTerraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Experience buildingdistributed processing systems and async worker architectures.

• Previous consulting or client-facing experience.

• Bottom of the range
  You meet the core requirements and will need ramp-up time and support.

• Middle of the range
  You are fully autonomous from Day 1 and deliver consistently.

• Top of the range
  You are a reference for the role, mentor others, and raise the bar for the team.
