The Consultant will ā€œbridge the gapā€ between the business and technical teams byĀ solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through theĀ transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a WorkdayĀ implementation. They must have a technical aptitude and be capable of configuringĀ the project to meet the business and design qualifications.Ā 

KeyĀ Responsibilities:

• Become a Workday product expert with knowledge of design,Ā configuration, testing and implementation.
• Leverage your expertise to recommend the best solution based on theĀ client’s requirements, budget and timeframe; with the flexibility to adaptĀ 
the scope as additional needs are identified.
• Track issues and risks communicate status and escalate concernsĀ applicable for all clients in their portfolio.
• Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configurationĀ decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’sĀ unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
• Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project,Ā ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCMĀ solution.
• Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping theĀ client, the project team and the Engagement Manager abreast of changesĀ or progress related to the project.
• Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizantor Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
• Display a hands-on expertise of the software, including iLoading clientĀ data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuringĀ business processes and security.
• Utilize the technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into dataĀ conversion templates via iLoads.
• Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providingĀ support for shadow assignments.
• Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to shareĀ one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization

Education andĀ ExperienceĀ Requirements:
Ā 

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience highlyĀ desired.
• 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experienceĀ preferred.
• 2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS softwareĀ highly desired.
• Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping,Ā testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multipleĀ deadlines.Ā
