Workday Financials, Principal Consultant

The Principal Consultant will ā€œbridge the gapā€ between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday Finance implementation.Ā 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Workday Finance expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing and implementation.

  • Reinforces company policies and procedures to others.

  • Drives and makes decisions regarding tactical direction of project workstreams.

  • Identifies dependencies and supports interplay between different workstreams within a project.

  • Leads, mentors, and oversees the work of other Consultants within their projects.Ā 

  • Expected to be Subject matter expert (SME) in Core Financials, Procurement, Projects and Expenses area.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelorā€™s degree required or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of Workday Finance and Procurement or any other planning tool implementation experience, required.

  • 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting area. Cloud ERP experience will be an advantage.

  • Workday Adaptive Financials (Highly Desirable) experience.

  • Experience in working with another financial ERP system such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle ERP Cloud, or any other tool will be considered for this role.

  • Background in financial or supply chain roles

  • Data driven and solution driven mindset.

  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
