Cofactr is on a mission to make hardware as agile and scalable as software. We’re leveraging better data and AI to build best-in-class tools for electronics supply chain management. Cofactr is a single platform for procurement, purchase, and management of electronic components that works seamlessly with integrated logistics to assure that the physical management of electronics parts is always responsible and efficient.
We're a Y Combinator W22 company with growing revenue and backed with significant venture funding from VCs like Bain Capital Ventures.
**The Role**
This is not the standard run-of-the-mill sales position. We are looking for an entrepreneur that can help our growing start-up build out sales systems and work to test and adapt language to pique the interest of our prospects and customers alike.
**What you'll do**
• Identify potential customers and run the end-to-end sales process
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and Contract Manufacturers, from Executives to Electrical Engineering teams and Supply Chain Managers; be viewed as a subject matter expert
• Work with our Founders and Engineering team to identify gaps in our solutions for OEMs and Contract Manufacturers
• Manage pipeline and accurately reflect the probability of close
**What we're looking for**
• 3+ years of recurring sales experience, particularly in SaaS markets selling B2B IT solutions
• Proven ability to interact and articulate complex solutions to all levels of an OEM and/or Contract Manufacturer, across Electrical Engineering and Supply Chain teams
• Desire to get (more) technical and the ability to learn the ins and outs of Cofactr’s platform and solutions
• Comfort working across a dynamic team with shifting priorities and project loads, and (re)setting expectations so that you and the team are successful
• Experience in hardware and manufacturing. This could be in a manufacturing facility, as an engineer, selling hardware manufacturing-specific SaaS, or other role. Knowledge of manufacturing's connection to engineering, its terminology, and its challenges are critical to success in the role.
